Fort Bend County Animal Control

Fort Bend County Animal Control is a well-resourced agency that is important to the public health and safety within our community. The primary function of the department is to protect the human population from rabies.

FBCAC requires that all pets be placed on a leash when in the front yard or while walking. In addition, you must keep your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date. As a courtesy to other residents, please be sure to pick up your pet’s waste when you are out for a walk.

If you have any questions about Fort Bend County’s requirements or to report a loose pet, please call 281-342-1512.

Be advised that wild animals such as skunks, opossums, and feral pigs are often seen in this area. Fort Bend Animal Control will not respond to remove these animals unless they are posing a danger to residents.

Do not hesitate to call 911 to report any dangerous animal.
